Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use roundpatch.com, including our free tools (the Image Resizer & Cropper, Image Converter & Compressor, format converters and Meta Tag Checker & Generator). By using the site or the tools, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the tools.

1. Free tools: availability and future pricing

• Current offer. Today you can use each tool a few times without signing up, and a free sign-up unlocks unlimited use of every tool, subject to fair use (section 2).
• We may change the offer. At any time we may introduce paid plans or a subscription, set usage limits (for example on the number of uses, file sizes or batch sizes), move some features to a paid plan while keeping others free, require an account, or change, pause or withdraw any tool.
• Sign-up doesn’t lock in free access. “Unlimited use” after sign-up applies while the tools are offered free. It isn’t a lifetime licence or a paid subscription.
• We’ll tell you first. Before any pricing change affects a tool you use, we’ll announce it on the site and, if you’ve signed up, by email.
• No surprise charges. We’ll never charge you automatically. Paid features will only apply if you choose a plan and accept its terms at that time.
• What you’ve made is yours. Files you’ve already converted, resized or downloaded are yours to keep, whatever happens to the tools later.

2. Fair use

Please use the tools for normal personal and business work. You must not:

• use bots, scripts or automated requests, or try to get around usage limits or sign-up;
• use the Meta Tag Checker to scan pages you aren’t allowed to access, or to overload any website;
• process content that is unlawful or that you don’t have the right to use;
• copy, resell or rebrand the tools, or try to reverse-engineer or disrupt them.

We may limit or block access if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken.

3. Your files and content

The image tools run in your browser, so your images are processed on your device and aren’t uploaded to us. The Meta Tag Checker fetches the public page you enter so that it can read its tags. You’re responsible for having the rights to any image or page you use with the tools.

4. Your details

If you sign up, we store your email address and phone number to give you tool access and, only if you opt in, to send occasional updates. See our privacy policy for how we handle your data.

5. No guarantee

The tools are provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep them accurate and reliable, but we don’t guarantee that they will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular purpose. Please check your results before you publish them. Title and description suggestions are recommendations only; they don’t guarantee any search ranking or result.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, RoundPatch isn’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the free tools. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

7. Client projects

These terms cover the website and free tools only. Design, development, email and AI projects we deliver for clients are governed by the proposal or agreement we sign with each client.

8. Our content

The site, its content and the tools are owned by RoundPatch. Our third-party notices list the open-source components and licences involved.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we introduce paid plans. We’ll change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects signed-up users, we’ll let you know by email. Continuing to use the tools after an update means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
